Those who qualify for Medicare benefits will find that many skilled services can be provided through Medicare, as long as certain criteria are met. The Medicare home care benefit has been designed as a short term, intermittent service. Some individuals may elect to continue skilled services after their Medicare benefits are exhausted, or may want services that are not covered by the plan.
