Meet Our Staff
Teamwork plays an integral role in the management and coordination of client care. It enables us to deliver the highest quality, most cost effective care, and it facilitates timely and constructive communication.
The WellsBrooke staff is composed of nurses, coordinators and management professionals with over 50 years of cumulative experience. Each is dedicated to upholding the WellsBrooke Mission: “devoting exceptional attention to detail and supplying personal, compassionate care.”
ADMINISTRATION
Cheryl Nagel, Executive Vice President
Although Cheryl is best known for her compassion and concern for others, she also has quite an impressive resume with a broad spectrum of experience. She has served as a nurse for over 20 years in a variety of settings including hospitals, nursing homes and home health care. But most of all, Cheryl is a true caregiver at heart.
“What I truly enjoy most about my job is the joy of our clients and their families when our client is able to return home. When we visit them, we see how happy they are and how well they do in their own homes. I have a very rewarding job. I receive so much more than I give.”
Karla Rouland, RN, BSN, Director of Nursing
Karla has spent most of her adult life taking care of others. She began when she was only eighteen at Garden City Hospital as a nurse’s aide. A few years later she received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Wayne State University. Her experience as a nurse includes working at Grace Hospital and Garden City Hospital for many years in a variety of areas such as: Neurology, Trauma, ENT, Urology, Orthopedics and Post Surgery units. Karla came to WellsBrooke in 2002 where her responsibilities consist of visiting the clients regularly, updating their care plans and medication sheets and training the staff and family as needed. She also coordinates with managers, staff and other professionals because she is passionate about making sure that the clients’ needs and wishes are taken care of. Karla oversees all of our medical professionals who work with clients on a visit by visit basis. These include Registered Nurses, Occupational and Physical Therapists, and Speech and Language Pathologists.
“I truly enjoy being involved with the clients and watching their progress.”
